I want to thank you for helping our family with Jon. The experience was loving and caring. The intervention went just like our rehearsal. I truly hope this will change Jon life.
Thank you
Mrs. Hao
Dear Mrs. Hao
It was a pleasure working with you and your family. Jon is on his way to a new life! He is excited and says he wants to change. If you need anything or if you have any questions, please feel free and call me.
Warm regards,

I’m Dori… I’m 23 and am an addict… my main drugs of choice were xanax, marijuana and adderall… Before my intervention in April 2009 my life was fallin apart- I was also codependent to the wrong crowd, experimenting/mixing all different kinds of drugs, skipping school and stealing from my family and sadly I wasn’t going to stop anytime soon. Unfortunately there was a lot of anger (mainly on my part) on the morning of my intervention. A lot of hurtful words were said but my parents loved me enough to make sure that my ass got into treatment. In treatment I learned that I wanted to change and a result I stayed there for 6 weeks and was in sober living for 5 and a half months. Today I’m almost 11 months sober, I’m going to school, hold a steady job, surround myself with the right people and finally have a good relationship with my parents again. I’m not perfect and my life still has it’s tests but my sobriety is too important to ever fall back. I truly believe now that my intervention saved my life and I just want to thank all that were involved.
Thank you,
Dori
It has been a pleasure working with you and your family. You have a great start at a new life. I want to congratulate you on your 11 months of sobriety and look forward in seeing you get a one year chip! Keep up the good work Dori!

I want to thank you for picking me back up and setting me on the right path. I couldn’t have seen the light without my intervention. I have 60 days clean now and the fog is starting to clear. I can see my goals and dreams with solidity and I have the correct lifestyle to achieve them.
When I first got to Chapman House, I was in a hopeless state, after being here for awhile I gained myself back. The staff and counselors were incredible, always available and helped me become who I am today. I am so happy that I got the chance to live and I owe it all to Chapman House and their staff.
Thank you!
Doug

Good brief and this post helped me alot in my college assignement. Gratefulness you on your information.
Brian and Dan showed up earlier than planned due to my son’s growing aggitation over the whereabouts of his gun. We did not have time to rehearse the intervention. Brian skillfully managed to convince my son that he had nothing to lose by voluntarily checking himself into the treatment center. All of my son’s arguments and defenses were carefully addressed, we were able to read our letter and by the end of the intervention, my son acted as if he were going to grab a hamburger with old friends. I am convinced that he is where he needs to be. It is only day 2 at the center and yes, he has shown anger and resistance to being there. I hope and pray that he gets the help he needs and starts life fresh afterwards. Thank you, Brian!!
Debbie I am so glade to have been a help to you and your family. Your son is on a new path and I am hopeful for his success!
